 Thanks. I used it on an old and badly-edited series of videotapes that had been digitized by someone else to produce poor-quality VOB\'s I converted to AVI with \'Handbrake\'.Unfortunately I could not see that the MSU Denoising plug-in had any noticeable effect on such AVI\'s. Thanks for making it available however.

 Had a Christmas movie done with my camera, the noise and darkness was horrible that we could barely make it out. I tried this application and within minutes had a lovely Christmas movie clear as can be. Thanks Guy,Russ
 It looks like fine solution... ...for noise on VHS video. Although my video is very very damaged, I manage to get decent results with this plugin!
msu rules Fantastic, very useful filter, removes the noise even from realy dark footage. Thanks!
crash under virtualdub 1.81 Unfortunately, both msu_denoiser.zip and msu_smartdeblock.zip crashed under virtualdub 1.81. One crashed intermittently; the other, always.I was using a matrox mjpeg compressed avi file & was attempting to convert it to divx or xvid. I used filters under virtualdub such as resize & deinterlace, along with one of the msu plugins.My PC: win2k, amd duron 700mhz, 320mb ram, matrox marvel g400 agp-4x.I guess the plugins work ok on older versions of virtualdub, but it would be nice to see them work with the latest versions as well.Sincerely,Patrice Remy

I am a long time user of Irfanview. I recently received a disc which IF would not open the thumbnails, I deleted the old versions and installed the latest. It still will not open these AI eps. files. I'm going to send the disc to someone else to see if they can open, and make me a PDF to print out.Other than this one disc, I've always been very pleased with performance of Irfanview.
I have an older version of Irfanview and just wanted to update to the new release.
My first time using IRFAN VIEW: very quick download and very useful for my job to open print designs in high resolution, as well. Many tools available and easy. I'll try it soon with pictures and small movies, also.
Great program I have been using for years. Most convenient tool available for basic information, converting and resizing photos. fast!

Hot Lingo Review I like Hot Lingo. It does everything they say it will. I think it is just a little overpriced for what we would do with it.When you select Spell Check... from the Tools menu, you get an "evaluation copy" reminder that you have to close before the program runs. It was a nuisance to have to close that window before proceeding. Perhaps in the purchased edition that window does not open. Other than that, no complaints. I may buy it for a couple of users who may benefit from it.

Seems good. Downloaded the other day, installed, seems stable, seems to have weather for many global locations, which I wanted, looks good in media center, the only thing lacking is that I would like a taskbar icon showing current temperature and conditions in the default location, like I had with previous non-mce programs.
Its free!!!!!! Very good little program. It needs to have the ability to turn sound effects off - they are in the rest of my setup.
